Delete your account
You can delete your Landlord account and everything on it from inside the app, in about ten seconds. There is no undo.
Delete it from the app
- Open Landlord and sign in, if you are not already.
- Go to More.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The account and its data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out on every device you were signed in on.
Cancel a renewing subscription first. If you hold a Landlord Pass that is still set to renew, we will refuse to delete the account and point you at where to cancel it.
That refusal is deliberate and it protects you. Neither Apple nor Google lets an app cancel a subscription on your behalf — only you can, in your device's own settings. If we deleted the account anyway, you would go on being billed every month for a game you no longer have, and there would be nothing left for us to attach a refund to.
A subscription you have already cancelled is no obstacle, even if it still has paid time left on it. We do not make you wait for it to run out.
If you cannot reach the app
If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, write to support@landlordgame.app from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is yours before we do anything, and then delete it by hand.
The same address is where to ask for anything else about your data — a copy of it, a correction, or removal of the leftovers described below.
What deletion removes
- Your account record, including your email address and password hash.
- Every property you own, and its purchase record.
- Your claim on every building you held — each goes back on the market for anybody to buy. A claim left standing in the name of a deleted account would put that building permanently out of reach of every other player.
- Every loan, your entire transaction history, and your coin ledger.
- Every bid you have on auctions that have not yet settled — genuinely erased from the auction, not just marked.
- The coordinates recorded on every offer you made. This is the only precise location Landlord stores durably, and deletion clears it.
- All of your active sessions, everywhere.
- Your push notification tokens, so nothing can be sent to any device that was signed in.
- Your display name, which is released for another player to take.
- Your subscription record — the product, expiry, renewal flag and notification preferences. This does not cancel the subscription itself; only you can do that.
- Every support message you sent us, with the address and display name stored alongside it.
Anything you had listed for sale is withdrawn from the market first, so nobody can buy from an account that is being deleted.
What it leaves behind
We would rather tell you than let you assume otherwise. Deletion does not remove:
| What stays | Why |
|---|---|
| Offers you made or received | A declined or expired offer is the other player's only record that somebody wanted their building. The offer keeps your former account identifier, the price and the date — but the coordinates you made it from are cleared. |
| Withdrawn listing records | These keep your former account identifier. |
| History records for buildings you owned | The condition each was left in and the log of what happened to it. These describe the building rather than you, and its next owner needs to see them. |
| Purchase audit records from RevenueCat | Append-only, and retained for financial reconciliation. |
| Emails we already sent | A support reply, or the confirmation copy of your own message, cannot be recalled from a mailbox. There is no honest way to promise otherwise. |
After deletion these leftovers point at an account identifier that no longer resolves to anybody — the account, the email address and the password hash are gone, and your display name goes with them, so nothing that survives shows it. They are not, however, erased, and we are not going to describe them as if they were.
If you want any of them removed as well, write to support@landlordgame.app and we will do it by hand.
